>2 foot by 2 foot tiles that fit together like puzzle pieces. Different thicknesses available (I recommend the 1/2"). Anti slip texture. Light, easy to assemble and move, cost effective. The foam is soft enough to provide cushion for your hands and knees and durable enough to withstand heavy weights.
>The tiles can come apart slightly with heavy usage. You can mitigate this by taping up all the seams (I used gorilla tape and it worked perfectly - you just can't take them apart easily if you tape them).
>The tiles do not do well to weights being dropped on them. It will cut right through the foam and damage the floor underneath or the equipment if you drop the weights at all, even moderately heavy kettlebells can shred it up, so be careful.
>Do not let the area underneath the foam flooring get wet. It can trap moisture under the mats and cause mold to grow between the floor and the mats, especially if exposed to the elements or in a humid garage for example.
>Not the best flooring in the world in terms of durability, but for the price and convenience, they are a great place to start and they work great for a little mobility space. I have a 6 foot by 6 foot foam square taped together that I throw down for my mobility work, especially if I want to noodle around outside or in the driveway and need some padding.
